Conference on Composites (CANCOM)

July 12-15, 2022, Fredericton-Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada

The 12th Canadian-International Conference on Composites, CANCOM 2022, will be held in Fredericton (the capital of New Brunswick) and Moncton (the business hub of the province) between July 12th and 15th, 2022.

Since its inception, CANCOM has been Canada's largest technical forum facilitating the exchange of technological know-how, research state-of-art, and innovation challenge related to composite materials, by bringing together Canadian and international delegates from industry, academia, government, non-governmental organizations, and vendor suppliers. Keeping industry focus at the centre, CANCOM 2022 has adopted Research & Innovation in Composites as its theme.

The CANCOM 2022 Organizing Committee is proud to be able to invite you to attend this unique event in-person in a post-COVID-19 era.. For more details, please visit the CANCOM2022 website at:

Abstract Submissions: Participants wishing to present papers are invited to submit an abstract for original conference papers. Please check the website for details.

23nd International Conference on
Composite Materials (ICCM-23)

ICCM23 Postponed Until 2023

The 23nd International Conference on Composites Materials (ICCM23) will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

ICCM is the premier international conference in the field of composite materials and was first held in 1975 in the cities of Geneva and Boston. Since that time the conference has been held biennially in North American, European, Asian, Oceanic, and African cities.

ICCM 23 will attract the leading researchers and practitioners, to report and exchange ideas on the latest developments in the advancement and exploitation of a wide range of composites materials and structures. The general themes of material development, testing, modelling, manufacturing and design will encompass a breadth of topics which will provide a comprehensive global snap-shot of the state-of-the-art.

Plenary and keynote lectures from pre-eminent leaders in the field are planned, along with oral and poster presentations from an expected large delegation coming together in Belfast from all corners of the world. A number of site visits and an entertaining social programme are also planned.

Brian G. Falzon, ICCM23 Conference Chair
(Queen's University Belfast)
Conor Carthy, ICCM23 Conference Technical Chair
(University of Limerick)

4th International Symposium on Automated Composites Manufacturing

April 25-26, 2019, Montreal, Canada

The first three International Symposia on Automated Composites Manufacturing were held in Montreal in April 2013, 2015 and 2017. These events were very successful for the composite manufacturing community with participation from many hundreds people from many countries. The symposia addressed hot topics in the area of advanced composites manufacturing using automated technologies. They brought together both academia and industrial practitioners and aimed to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial applications.

At the request of many, and following the trend toward increased use of automated manufacturing of composite structures, the 4th International Symposium on Automated Composites Manufacturing (ACM4) is being organized to be held in Montreal April 25-26, 2019.
